Privacy
MeltKit is made by Motresku, a one-person business in Belgium. The short version: the app keeps your work on your computer, and nothing about how you use it is collected. Questions go to support@meltkit.com.
The MeltKit app
- Everything you make (looks, favorites, settings) is stored on your own computer. MeltKit has no account, no analytics and no tracking.
- The app goes online only to activate and check your license. When you activate, it sends your license key and your computer's name to Polar, our payment provider, so the activation shows up in your Polar account and you can tell your computers apart. Like any connection, this also reveals your IP address to Polar. About once a week, when you're online, it checks that the license is still valid.
- Help and about can open an email to support with a few lines about your system (system version, graphics card, screen size). It is only sent if you choose to send that email.
- On Windows, MeltKit is installed and updated through the Microsoft Store, which Microsoft runs under its own privacy statement.
Buying a license
Purchases are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the seller of record and takes care of payment and taxes. Polar processes your name, email address, country and payment details under its own privacy policy. We can see your email address, your order and your license activations, and use them only to provide your license and help you.
This website
meltkit.com uses no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The sales counter on the pricing section only shows a number; it collects nothing about you.
Support emails
When you write to support, we use your message and email address only to answer you, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by writing to support@meltkit.com. If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
