Tip: in MeltKit, open Help and about and click Copy system info, then paste it into your email. It tells us your system version and graphics card, which is usually the first thing we need.

I lost my license key

It's in the email from Polar you got after buying, and in your Polar account (sign in with the email you bought with).

Moving MeltKit to a new computer

A license works on up to 3 computers. To free one up, open Help and about on the old computer, click License, then Deactivate. If the old computer is gone, you can remove it from your Polar account instead.

"This key is already active on 3 computers"

Free up one of them as described above, then activate again.

"Could not reach the license server"

Activating needs an internet connection. Check that you're online and that a firewall or VPN isn't blocking MeltKit, then try again. Once activated, MeltKit works offline.

What MeltKit needs

Windows 10 (version 1809 or later), Windows 11, or a recent version of macOS, and a graphics card from the last few years.
